The state is divided into seven inspection areas – West, Southwest, Central, Northeast, South Central, East, and Southeast. In addition to these areas nine delegated authority cities/areas also inspect tanks and issue permits in their jurisdiction - Bellevue, Grand Island, LaVista/Papillion, Lincoln, University of Nebraska - Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha, and Scottsbluff.
Over the last several years, the FLST section has been investigating motor vehicle fueling fires and prepared a memorandum explaining our findings. If you have any information on this issue, please let us know.
